Communities First Wildmill has been based in the old Post Office since 31st March 2008.   The building has now been renamed Wildmill Community Hub and is a partnership building accomodating the Wildmill Area Tenants & Residents Association (WATRA) and Police Community Support Officers (PCSO).  Meeting rooms in the building are being used by other agencies such as the Health Service, Employment Agencies, Credit Union, Bridges into Work and V2C etc to bring their services to the local community. 

Communities First aims to get local people involved in improving their areas, to bring in funding and other support from a range of sources, to encourage new ways of dealing with problems, and to involve everyone in working together to make their communities better places in which to live and work.

The aim is to set up a Partnership group for Wildmill consisting of service providers, local businesses and community members.
